- Christian Richard: "Why Learn Esperanto?"
In 2000, Christian Richard presented a two-hour radio program in
Esperanto on radio station CHMA, from Mount Allison University, in the town
of Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada. He has moved on from the university,
and the broadcast no longer occurs. Fortunately, we were able to capture part
of it for posterity.
In this segment, Christian discusses what Esperanto is, and the unexpected
richness of the social life he found through it.
